Townsville Tri Club
Members are from a wide variety of backgrounds and each member has their own personal goal to achieve. Whether it be purely for fitness or just being social, we even support the more serious competitor vying for their spot on a national team.
We welcome all ages and personalities to our club and hope that each member enjoys their own specific goal.

Our AGM and Xmas party is this Sunday. Spend $30 and receive pool entry into the splash bar and $50 credit to go towards food and drinks. Club members only:

AGM: All positions will become vacant, then a call for nominations will be held. Please we urge you. Put your hand up. We are a small club, and we need your help.
Positions include:
President - Incumbent Marty de Haan 4.5 years running. Would love to take a break.
Vice President - Vacant.
Secretary - Jason Selman.
Treasurer - Madjid Boussouira (name only) Marty does all of this.
Website Developer - Vacant (our website needs some TLC)
Property - Matthew Spillane (just picked this up from Marty). I think he’s keen to continue this next year.
Social Media - Vacant, although CHATGPT has been doing a good job with the advertisements.
Xmas Party Organiser - Wendy Smith 🙌
General committee members - Annette Nelson, Jenny Mason, Vicki Parson. These ladies have volunteered themselves race after race to help with setup, running the registration tent and pack up. We could always do with a couple more volunteers though.
If we get enough people to turn up, we may ask the following positions to be filled to help reduce the load on some of our members:
Club Merchandise Officer - Uniforms, prizes, merch, all the good stuff we like to give away, or sell to keep the club viable.
Race director / Event organiser.
Others as required.
