Members are from a wide variety of backgrounds and each member has their own personal goal to achieve. Whether it be purely for fitness or just being social, we even support the more serious competitor vying for their spot on a national team.
We welcome all ages and personalities to our club and hope that each member enjoys their own specific goal.

The Sue Bell Memorial Triathlon is just around the corner, and there's still time to secure your spot in Townsville's ONLY triathlon for 2026! 🎉
Whether you're tackling your first ever triathlon, chasing a new PB, or racing at an elite level, there's an event for everyone.

✅ Short Course (perfect for first-timers)
✅ Long Course for experienced athletes
🌊 Safe, spectator-friendly courses
• Long Course features a beautiful 1km river swim.
• Kids and Short Course competitors swim in the protected Riverway lagoon/pool, making it ideal for beginners and young athletes.
• 🚴 The bike course is on CLOSED ROADS, so you can ride with confidence on a fully traffic-free course.
Bring the family, challenge your mates, or tick "complete a triathlon" off your bucket list. This is one of Townsville's favourite community events and a fantastic day out for competitors and spectators alike.
