Townsville Tri Club

Members are from a wide variety of backgrounds and each member has their own personal goal to achieve. Whether it be purely for fitness or just being social, we even support the more serious competitor vying for their spot on a national team. We welcome all ages and personalities to our club and hope that each member enjoys their own specific goal.

Here is the map for the Xmas No-Tech Triathlon… if you decide to drop a leg, you must do another leg twice. For example: you don’t have a bike, so you opt for an aquathon. You can either do a run-swim-run or a swim-run-swim. 2nd example: You can’t run due to a lower leg injury, so you opt for an Aquabike. You can either do a swim-ride-swim or a ride-swim-ride.

Adults: Each leg consists of two laps as depicted below.
Big kids: Just do one lap of each leg
Little kids: I’ll figure something out on the day. I’ll most likely keep you on the running track for the bike component.

Remember: Start anytime after 6am. The winner is the person/kid that can predict their overall time and finish exactly on 8am!

Closest to 8am wins!

Here’s a race that anyone can do. We’ll establish a kids course and an adults course, and we’ll modify it to suit any injuries you might carry. Choose from Aquathon, Duathlon, Aquabike or Triathlon. Start anytime after 6am and whoever finishes closest to 8am without using technology (time devices) wins! $10 entry. Winner takes all!
