Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies

After this time, these logs are automatically deleted.
User communications – When you send an email or other communications to Townsville Tri Club, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. When you send and receive SMS messages to or from one of our services that provides SMS functionality, we may collect and maintain information associated with those messages, such as the phone number, the wireless carrier associated with the phone number, the content of the message, and the date and time of the transaction. We may use your email address to communicate with you about our services or products but never to send you communications that are not related to your purchases or that you haven’t opted into.

Townsville Tri Club processes personal information on our servers in Australia. In some cases, we process personal information outside your own country.
Merchandise
All our club merchandise is available for order through our clubroom via the Catfish Designs website. Some items will be in stock and available to purchase without shipping delays. However others such as tri suits will take 6-8 weeks to manufacture and ship. There will be two (2) minimum order timeframes each year generally March-April and September-October. All returns and exchanges are handled through the clubroom and Catfish.
Information Sharing
Townsville Tri Club only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Townsville Tri Club in the following limited circumstances:
- We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
- If we provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. When we receive formal written complaints, it is Townsville Tri Club’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns.
